Workshop: Creative Acrylic and Mixed Media Techniques

If you’ve always wanted to learn acrylic painting and creative ways to apply it in your mixed media artwork, this is for you.  Robie Benve will demonstrate creative acrylic application in the making of a mixed media painting. The workshop will begin with the instructor’s demonstrating several creative applications with acrylic painting and mixed media. After the demo, students will proceed to work on their individual project. Further demonstrations and direction will meet students’ needs and interests.

This workshop is offered at two different times. You may pick the time that best suits you.

A) Monday, March 18, 6-9 pm (three spots left)

B) Wednesday, March 27, 1-4 pm (FULL)

At The Art Studio at 10 Oakland Park, in Clintonville, OH.

Accessibility: Street parking is available on Oakland Park Avenue and High Street. The Art Studio is located on the lower level of a building and has four steps to get in and out.

Instructor: Award-winning artist Robie Benve, DAAL Member. 

Classes are $40.00/ $30.00 for Dublin Area Art League Members.

Included supplies: One 9×12 gesso board. Paper for collage. Some mark-making tools.

Classes are limited to 8 students, 17 years and up. If you must cancel, or not enough people register, contact must be made three days before your workshop and a refund will be provided. Payment and registration must be received no later than two days before your workshop.

A waiver of liability is necessary to sign with the class.

Participants are welcome to bring their favorite snack and drink (there is not a refrigerator).
