OHIO STATE FAIR GIFT SHOP

DAAL members have been invited to take over the Ohio State Fair Gift Shop on August 3-6, 2023.
This will provide great exposure for participating artists and the Dublin Area Art League and hopefully yield lots of sales!
FREE to artists. DAAL will take care of the rental fee. In exchange, each artist who participates will be asked to volunteer in some way to help run the store and make the event happen. DAAL will retain a 5% transaction fee on all sales.
What to Submit
2D and 3D items are accepted. Artworks, accessories, jewelry, hand-made things, apparel, etc. Being a gift shop in an environment where buyers will have to walk around holding their purchase, we encourage manageable items to carry around for a couple of hours.
Some ideas of things that may sell well are small and medium artworks, cards, scarves, jewelry, ornaments, prints, small sculptures, ceramics, key chains, fiber art, t-shirts, bags, magnets, and more. Think of the kind of products you may see in a museum gift shop, plus, of course, original art.
To apply, please visit the link below and leave specifics about the type of art product you’d like to sell. Applicants will be selected on a first-come basis, and the selection process will also be based on having an assortment of items in the shop. Each member is welcome to submit multiple items; please list them in the form below.
DEADLINE TO APPLY IS JULY 9, 2023
If accepted, you will receive an email with more details, including a link to sign up to volunteer and what days and times to drop off your items. The drop-off will likely be at my house in Upper Arlington.
