A message to our Members regarding COVID-19: the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) will be closed until further notice starting after regular business hours ending Friday, March 13, 9:30 p.m. At this time the Spring Show is canceled and will be to rescheduled at a future time. Entry fees and artworks of those that already registered will be rolled over to the new show. (current as 3/13/2020)

Important ~ Art Dimensions Are Limited – See Rules Below for Details
Entry Fees: Each piece of artwork must be submitted in one of two categories; Photography/Digital Art OR Fine Art/Non-Digital (including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, etc.)
$20 Entry Fee for 1 or 2 Pieces – Categories may vary by piece, such as painting and photography
$40 Entry Fee for 3 or 4 Pieces – No more than 2 pieces can be entered by the same artist in each category
Prizes: Best of Show $125 includes both categories combined – funded by the Dublin Arts Council. The Fine Art and Digital Art/Photography Categories each have the following prizes; 1st Place $75, 2nd Place $50, 3rd Place $25, and 3 Honorable Mentions which will receive Ribbons. Total cash prizes: $425.
- a) First Entry – shall measure no longer than 33 inches (including the frame) on the longest side;
b) Second Entry – shall measure no longer than 18 inches (including the frame) on the longest side;
c) if applicable, third and fourth entries (in a different category) will follow the same size restriction guidelines as the First and Second entries.
- All paintings & photos must be wired for hanging. “Sawtooth” hangers are not accepted. If Art is not framed, edges must be finished. Paintings must be dry to the touch. No Nudes may be displayed at the Dublin Recreation Center. Please let us know if you need a pedestal to display your piece.
- All artwork must be original work of the member and not previously exhibited in a DAAL Show. Work must have been completed within the last 5 years. Not For Sale works acceptable.
Release of Liability: Artists will be asked to sign an Assumption of Risk and Liability Form when art is dropped off. This is a requirement of the Dublin Recreation Center.

The DAAL Spring Show is partially funded by the Dublin Arts Council though a Community Arts Grant to encourage community engagement, cultivate creativity, and foster life-long learning through the arts.
