During the reception we’ll announce the Spring Show awards
and the Ross Ekstrom scholarship winners.

Eligibility: All members of Dublin Area Art League that paid their membership for the year 2022-2023 may enter artwork. Need to renew your membership? click here. – To join click here.
Entry fee: $15.00 for one, $20.00 for two pieces Each member can enter two pieces of artwork for the categories of Photography/Digital Art or Fine Art/Non-Digital (including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, etc.)
Best of Show $125 includes both categories combined.
The Fine Art and Digital Art/Photography Categories each (* see note below) have the following prizes; 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd Place $50, and 3 Honorable Mentions which will receive Ribbons.

As long as we have 16 artists submitting in this category, we will have separate awards for it. If we have less than 16 artists entering work in the Photography/Digital category, we will ask the jurors to judge the whole show as one.
- a) Entry shall measure no longer than 24 inches (including the frame) on the longest side;
- b) All paintings & photos must be wired for hanging. “Sawtooth” hangers are not accepted. If art is not framed, edges must be finished. Paintings must be dry to the touch. No Nudes may be displayed at the Dublin Recreation Center. No pedestals available.
- c) All artwork must be original work of the member and not previously exhibited in a DAAL Show.
- d) Work must have been completed within the last 5 years.
- e) Sales are between the artist and the buyer. No commissions are taken by DAAL or the Rec Center. Not For Sale works are acceptable.
Release of Liability: Artists will be asked to sign an Assumption of Risk and Liability Form when art is dropped off. This is a requirement of the Dublin Recreation Center.
Important Show Dates:
|March 25th||Deadline to Submit Entry Form & Label Information for Art|
|April 1st||Drop Off Art at Dublin Recreation Center between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Bring your labels.
|April 16th||Reception & Awards Ceremony 2-4 PM. Guests & Public Welcome. Artists: bring a small plate of finger food. NOTE: Change of day, this is a Sunday event!
|April 29th||Pick Up Art between 9:00 and 11:00 AM.|
Volunteers Needed for the Spring Show
All members of DAAL are invited to volunteer to help out in some way during the year.
Helping with a show is a great opportunity to meet other members and to contribute to the success of the event.
