Short Bio: Linda lives in Marysville Ohio. Her studio is open the second Friday of every month for Franklinton Friday from 6pm to 10pm at 400 W Rich St, suite 307.
Full Bio: I can’t remember a time when I didn’t think of myself as an artist. All of us start out like that—ask any young child, they’re all artists! I guess I never outgrew my childhood dream. Of course it took on many forms throughout the years as people who loved me tried to steer me in more practical (profitable)directions. My high school art teacher discouraged me from applying for an art school scholarship because, according to her, my art was too cartoonish. So I gave up. I became a hairdresser, an Air Force wife, and a mom. Something still wasn’t right, so I went to college and began a career in graphic design. Being a designer sharpened my skills, but didn’t fulfill my inexplicable need to make art. When I’m painting, I’m in my happy place. My studio is my happy place. Outside? Happy place. It’s my hope for you to discover new, happy places of your very own through art.
