Short Bio: I have always enjoyed merging my passions for movement, nature, impermanence and the environment in my work. I received a B.F.A. from Denison University in 2012, with a primary focus in painting (oil and acrylic). However, I thrive on experiencing and creating new things and tend to explore new mediums often.
Full Bio: I have an eclectic range of passions and experiences that are embodied in my creative processes, but an overarching theme tends to be the relationship between “self” and nature and the interconnectedness of life. I see visual art as a way to express concepts and ideas in ways that other forms of communication can’t easily articulate. In this way, I see artists as change makers. Activism through art has always felt like an important aspect of the creative process for me, allowing the viewer to interpret a work with a more open mind about themselves and the world around them.
