We are thrilled that this year’s Paint Out Competition will be judged by Tonya Ramsey, a multidisciplinary artist living and working in the Allegheny Plateau region of Southeastern Ohio.
Tonya’s work is deeply rooted in the lush complexity of the Ohio River Valley’s natural environment and the fragile balance of its ecosystems. Drawing on both the natural and human histories of the region, she explores how well-being is cultivated through connection with the natural world.
Her artwork has been featured in local, regional, and national exhibitions, and she regularly participates in plein air painting competitions. Tonya’s practice invites reflection on the interdependence of people and place, and the connection between human health and our experience and appreciation of the natural world.
The 22nd Annual Dublin Paint Out and wet sale will be on Saturday, September 6, starting at 9am in downtown Dublin, OH and Bridge Park.
