We will hold our monthly meeting on February 19, 2026
Free and open to the public!
Join us in February for an evening of creative conversations on February 19th at Kaltenbach Community Center for our Informal artist’s feedback night. Bring your art, sketchbooks, photos, etc., in which you are stuck, not sure how to finish it, or not certain your art “says” what you want it to say to others.
Gathering starts at 6:15 pm for social time.
Meeting 6:45-8:15 pm
What to expect: DAAL President Carolyn Prince will lead a discussion and guide us through a focused session on how to evaluate art objectively, determine if a piece is truly finished, and seek constructive feedback. You will then apply the learned skills in practice! This workshop is open to artists of all mediums and skill levels.
Bring up to two artworks:
• Work in Progress: Bring pieces where you feel “stuck” or need ideas for the next step.
• Finished Work: Bring pieces you aren’t sure are complete; we will provide handouts to help you decide.
• Format Options: Physical art, sketchbooks, art journals, or digital images are all welcome.Guidelines:
• Size: Due to space constraints, physical items must not exceed 24 inches. Anything above this will need to be an image on your device.
• Condition: All traditional media must be completely dry.
• Digital: Please ensure digital work is easily viewable on your own device.
These questions are meant to guide you and your artwork to the finish line. These questions work for realism, abstract, photographs or other forms of art. They help us look at our work objectively.
