Exhibit Opportunity for Members

The Dublin Area Art League has been invited to exhibit in the lobby area of the Riffe Gallery.

Eligibility: Must be current member of Dublin Area Art League, already paid for the September 2021 – August 2022 year.

Entry Fee: $5 per entry. Max four entries per artist.

Deadline: Application closes on May 6, 2022.

Space Is Limited. Due to space limitation, there are size limits and the show will be juried. Our Juror, Rod Hayslip will select about 30 pieces for the exhibit.

Maximum size:
2D: 30×30 inches (including frame).
3D:  max 16×16 base. A limited number of pedestals will be available. Small objects by the same artist may be grouped on the same pedestal.

Rules: Current members may enter 2D and/or 3D artworks.  All paintings & photos must be wired for hanging. “Sawtooth” hangers are not accepted.  If art is not framed, edges must be finished.  Paintings must be dry to the touch. No nudes, violence, or controversial subjects.

All artwork must be original work of the member and it’s OK if it was previously exhibited in a DAAL show. Work must have been completed within the last 5 years. Not For Sale works acceptable.

Work must be available to remain in the exhibit for the whole time.

Sales: All transactions are between the artist and the collector.

Commissions: The Riffe Gallery asks that the artists return 20% of the purchase price as a donation to the Ohio Arts Council.

Drop Off: Notifications of acceptance will be sent out on May 10th. Please drop off your accepted piece(s) on Saturday, May 14, 6-7:30 pm at the Dublin Rec Center.
Find Robie in the parking lot by the door to the Abbey Theater. Robie Benve will be there to collect all entries and she will load them in her car to be delivered to the Riffe Gallery on the 16th.

Tentative pick up date: Saturday, July 16 10:30am – noon, at the Rec Center. This may change. More details later.

  10. Attach a photo of your work. Nicely cropped, no frame, just artwork. At least 1MB, not tiny pictures (they look pixelated). Best if sent as attachment from a computer, not from your phone photo folder.

Make sure you pay your entry fee, to validate your submission.

Entry fees are $5 per entry. Each member can enter up to four entries.

Entry fees will be used to pay the juror. If we have extra money will have some cash awards.
