I am a retired docent with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, I relocated with my family to Columbus Ohio in March of 1997. I was accepted into COWS The Central Ohio watercolor Society and proceeded to take up teaching Graphite Drawing at JoAnns, Watercolor at Inniswood Metro Gardens, until I was able to set up smaller group lessons at my home.
My first love is graphite, and equal attention to colored pencil and watercolor in florals, still life and landscape in realistic style. I am inspired by all that is around me. I have had to put y life’s pursuit of my dreams on hold and am now on the threshold of earnestly beginning my career again. In addition to re-applying for my membership in COWS my studio is begging my attention with pencil and brush in hand.
It is my ultimate goal to be the finest artist that I can be and as a teacher, that I continue to bring the joy of creating art to others.
