Short Bio: Oil painting is one of my hobbies in retirement.
Full Bio: I studied painting in my youth, but stopped when I left college. I then spent a lifetime reading books as my main hobby. After retiring, while visiting Paris, I was inspired to take up art again, after setting it aside for 50 years, I work almost exclusively in oil paintings, usually after sketching out ideas inspired by photographs from my travels, or from my husbands photos. I typically paint in the loft of our log cabin, which my husband converted into my studio.
