New Online Art Challenge

Artists of all ages are invited to participate

The first prompt is a season-appropriate Snow Challenge.

For this challenge, you are invited to create artwork inspired by a snow scene. Feel free to paint from the photo above (from Pixabay), one of your own, or find one on a copyright free site like Pixabay or wikimedia commons. Just make sure that you pick an image that is “Free for commercial use, with no attribution required”.

All mediums acceptable: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, etc.
The challenge is open to any artist of any age.
Only three rules:
1. It must be YOUR original work.
2. It must have been created after the challenge was posted. No older work, please.
3. It needs to be somewhat consistent with the theme.

HOW DOES THE ART CHALLENGE WORK?

Every two weeks a new theme will be announced.
We’ll send you a prompt on the 1st and the 15th of each month. Feel free to participate once or many times, as it suits you.
Create art inspired by the prompt, then share your work on social media.

You can create one or several, anything you can manage.
HOW DO I POST MY CREATION?

After you have created your piece(s), be sure to post them on our Dublin Art League Lounge Facebook Group and/or on Instagram with the hashtag
#daalartchallenge

If possible, take the time to like each other posts and leave a positive and supportive comment. Searching for the hashtag will bring up all the entries with that tag #daalartchallenge.
