Short Bio: : I am a full time artist/designer working out of my home studio in Marysville, OH.
Full Bio: I try to do a wide range of work – using anything that is speaking to me to create whatever kinda piece. But this current series – the longest sort of series i have ever done has been different and a bit more focused: Relaxing. Calming. Dreaming. Hoping. Rejuvenating. These may not seem like statement paintings at first glance. They may just be pretty colors to you…and that’s great as well. But to me, each one of them is a statement—a quest—a need—an antidote. I’m creating this series in search of my own sense of hope. Each one is a journey, in its very process, to give me a sense of something greater than us, to be a beacon and a refuge of zen, civility, freedom and individuality.
Pretty colors? Sure. Flowers? Sure.
Butterflies? Sure. Just paint? Sure.
Air to carry on? Definitely.
Art is hope. Art is life.
