Short Bio: I am inspired by the colors, shapes and patterns of the 50’s through the 70’s.
Full Bio: I’m a Mixed Media Artist inspired by the colors, shapes and patterns of the 50’s through the 70’s. By Mixed Media, I simply mean that I use more than just paint in my pieces. In art school, I studied printmaking, design, and art history as well as painting, drawing and fine art metals. In my pieces you’ll see papers, skins and unique collage elements I make myself. You may also see pencil, oil sticks and acrylic pastes and gels. I really enjoy experimenting with texture, composition and color and I love my job- it gives me those good brain chemicals. I work and live in Ohio between two studios and teach all over the country as an Artist Educator for GOLDEN Paints. My strengths are discipline, focus and a profound sense of humor.
