The Dublin Area Art League has a brand new logo!!
It is representative of the organization’s diversity as well as their collective unity in the creative pursuit.
This process began last Spring when a steering committee met to create a Marketing Plan for the organization. One of the goals they created was a new visual identity for DAAL.
From that, a Call for Art was created and sent out over email and social media. The Call asked for designs that reflected DAAL’s wide range of artists working in a variety of mediums, and the mission of the Dublin Area Art League.
We received over 60 entries from our DAAL members, artists in the Columbus area, artists across Ohio, and even across the Country and Internationally!
A logo committee met on Zoom in August to review the entries and selected those that best fit the requirements. From those, 5 entries were chosen as semifinalists. These entries were sent out to all DAAL members to vote upon.
The winning entry was created by Holly Romano, a graphic designer and fine artist from the Columbus area. Holly received a free membership to DAAL for the year as well as a $350 stipend for her design. She graciously returned her stipend to the League to further DAAL’s mission and benefit it’s members. We thank Holly for the wonderful logo and her generous gift!
