Artist Bio: Phil Adams

Phil Adams is a self-taught street photographer, who has lived in the south end of Columbus since 1999. He has spent most of his adult life teaching music to persons of all ages (but primarily children), and only rediscovered photography about eight years ago after a lengthy hiatus stretching back to his childhood. He also happens to be a person living with depression, and considers his work in photography to be an integral part of his self-care plan.

Past venues for his work include Roy G Biv, Wild Goose Creative, Blockfort, Gallery 831, The German Village Meeting House (with the German Village Society, Chromedge Studios, 400 W. Rich, the Vanderelli Room, and Fresh A.I.R. Gallery. He is a member of the Ohio Art League.
