Full Bio: Born in Parma, Ohio, Jennifer Glance currently resides in Coldwater, Ohio. She earned a doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University. A lifelong artist, she applies her knowledge of anatomy to portray the human figure. Notable awards include a visual arts scholarship, scholastic art award, a finalist standing for Kroger’s community art project in Clinton Township, Michigan, and second place for 2D work at the St. Clair Annual Fine Arts Exhibit in 2017. Her solo exhibition at Studio 1219 in Port Huron, Michigan is scheduled for October 2018.

Jennifer’s work is in private collections. Her current work is focused on the Ohio landscape in oil mixed media. She is drawn to water and the landscape as her subjects, as they are in constant flux, yet remain resilient with time. Jennifer continues to draw her inspiration from the words of Walt Whitman:
“Oh, to confront night, storms, hunger,
Ridicule, accidents, rebuffs,
As the trees and animals do.”
