Full Bio: Bev has been an active member of DAAL for over 12 years. She is mostly known for her oil paintings, but does watercolor, photography and since 2016 mostly Encaustics. (Encaustics are molten beeswax with Damar Resin that are fused with heat to rigid surfaces like wood.) Bev applied for and received an Artist Supply Grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council to purchase supplies to teach workshops, and now teaches classes at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center Downtown. She also will be doing more and more workshops with this versatile and vibrant medium.
